The University of Tennessee is a best-practices support for under-served schools in Tennessee. Our work pushes schools within our network toward (1) provision of vital integrated student supports right from the schoolhouse doors, (2) encouraging families and communities to be actively engaged at their local schools, (3) collaboration with community partners to provide expanded and enriched learning time and opportunities, and (4) ensuring the work is based in collaborative leadership and practices.  Our work promotes rigorous and community-connected instruction in our community schools while building a culture of belonging, safety and care.
