Current Projects

Backpacks, paper, and basic school supplies are available for any student at Inskip and Pond Gap Elementary Schools.

UT students donate their time to provide first aid and care to students in an after-school clinic at Pond Gap Elementary.

On Mondays and Fridays, 3–5 p.m., there is a volunteer and work exchange at the Inskip community garden. Volunteers are also taken every day by request. If interested, please contact Sage Ezell at sezell2@gmail.com or Charice Starr at charice.starr@gmail.com.

Open volunteer workdays at the Pond Gap community garden, Wednesdays from 2–5 p.m. We welcome anyone wishing to volunteer at a more convenient time. Please email pondgapgarden@gmail.com and we will work with your schedule.

As part of their food truck ministry, the Knoxville Dream Center distributes food for families at Pond Gap Elementary School every Tuesday, 5:15–6 p.m., and comes to Inskip Baptist Church (4810 Rowan Rd.) on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Pond Gap parents meet for food and fellowship once a month with the purpose of connecting the school and family community. Parents define the mission for their children and act as the link between school and child to assure the success of every Pond Gap student.
